• As a Technical Director you will be responsible for managing the technical leadership of the tunnelling team
• You will be responsible for the performance and development of professional staff by providing guidance, training, direction and feedback to your team.
• You will be responsible for developing and driving the tunnelling specific business strategy and driving growth
• Responsible for bidding and tender submissions.  
• You will be responsible for the timely submission of deliverables, technical checking, monitoring of budgets and commercial management of projects.
• You work closely with the Board and Engineering Design Practice Lead to input into the strategic development of the Company and ensure implementation of OTB’s Corporate and Strategic Plan.

• Strong academic background with postgraduate qualifications in civil engineering.
• Minimum of 20 years’ experience.
• Chartered Status in civil or structural engineering and membership of professional bodies.
• Excellent interpersonal and technical skills and the ability to develop and lead tunnelling design teams.
• Proven experience in a fast-moving engineering consultancy environment.
• Proven tunnelling design experience.
• Good commercial track record.
• Proven skills in BIM and other design software.
