• You will be responsible for managing a small team of Engineers and their delivery of work packages with minimal supervision and oversight.
• You will be responsible for the timely submission of deliverables, technical checking, monitoring of budgets and commercial management of projects.
• You will be responsible for the performance and development of professional staff by providing guidance, training, direction and feedback to your team.
• Your work will involve small and large sized projects. This will include engineering design of temporary and permanent works to high standards providing the right solution first time
• Show internal team leadership in implementing engineering solutions to problems.
• Lead day to day technical discussion and solutions with other designers, contractors and clients.
• Ensures requirements within technical briefs and works information are adhered to.

• Strong academic background with postgraduate qualifications in civil or structural engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience
• Chartered Status in civil or structural engineering and membership of professional bodies.
• Excellent interpersonal and technical
• Proven experience in a fast-moving engineering consultancy environment.
• Proven tunnelling and underground space experience on major infrastructure projects;
• Good commercial track record
• Proven skills in BIM and other design software
• Proven working knowledge of relevant standards, legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines.
